Agido Our Heroine is pleasantly active. She's in danger, but she works to get out of it. She doesn't wait for a man to rescue her. Also, bonus points for older heroine who knows the value of sex for fun. GinnyTea Mar 31, Four stories in the book by four different authors, so the quality is a bit uneven. Each has some element of fantasy--elves, or special powers, or fairy tale, or magic.

The first story is a more traditional romance story, with the man coming to the rescue of a damsel in distress.

The second was quite slow but had an interesting premise; less traditional love story, and more a slow progression of events. The third story is a retelling of the Snow Queen fairy tale. I'm not generally a fan of this sort of thing, and this retelling didn't change my mind. Out of them all, I enjoyed the fourth story the most.

It is the shortest, and also a bit unclear about the details of the world at first, but it's a neat little story about a murder and how people often need to rely on others. Improbable versions of fairy story girl gets guy - Mixing the Fall and the Ice Queen and Skaldi foot searching for her preferred groom. This takes place before Lothar became the big bad for the world. I think this would've got a worse rating from me if not for Monette's story or even if Monette's hadn't been the last one.

    The Tempest's Roar by R.A.R. Clouston -

I loved the relationship between Emma and William. I love that there are still some secrets to discover and I am curious to see how the events of the last chapter play out. Definitely going to read the next book! I also loved the twist at the end of the book…I am wondering how that is going to turn out. William is a bit darker than Emma is aware of. What an ending!! I knew it was coming and then boom there it was and hen it was over.

Poor Brynne and I feel bad foe Ethan too but dude you should have been upfront with her…stupid mistake. Okay, off to buy book 2 off amazon now!!

Take This Man: A Give & Take 3.5 Novella

I just finished it and I am sitting here so conflicted. I am just so unsettled from it. Saying that it was an awesome book to read is an understatement. It kept me intrigued and I had a hard time putting it down yet in some areas I needed to put it down because it was too intense—emotionally speaking. Indy is smart, funny, tough but has a soft girlie side-that you get to see a little of when she lets you.

The trouble Indy finds herself in are sometimes too comical. I really liked this book and hope there is a sequel to it. At one point I was really pissed at Brad—the main male character but in the end he won me over.

If there is a second book in the series it would be interesting to see where the relationship goes and can they keep their relationship a secret from the office. This book was disturbing and a bit difficult to read in the beginning. Really wanted to read it but I needed to know how Brooklyn ventured. Did she escape? Would she survive? Would she heal—physically and mentally? It was a bit slow moving at times but I still had to finish it and know the ending. I loved this book! I laughed, I cried and I was stressed out at times but I would read it again and hope there will be a sequel to it!

Slow start but I really enjoyed the story. Once in the thick of it the story was good. There were some steamy moments and the beginning was interesting but I just wished it went a little quicker. I liked the alpha male and the story kept me interested throughout. This book is really steamy…wow! It also has a great story too. Leah and Rhett both discover many things about themselves. Some aspects of the book are pretty graphics specially one specific part it I still enjoyed reading it. Knight is extreme alpha male but after. Bit I to used to it and loved it! The ending is sweet..

I had a few tears in my eyes.

No Take Backs: A Taken Novella (Give & Take #1.5) by Kelli Maine

So good! Their story was so emotional and awesome.

A love of a lifetime. This book was unbelievable!

I found myself—again—caught between loving and hating Caleb. This book kept me in an almost constant state of panic…but in a good way. I wanted to know what was going to happen and how everything would play out in the end. I thought at one point I knew how it would end but I had it wrong. I loved it from the beginning to the end! OMG Caleb is not so innocent in that whole relationship and Leah that bitch.
